The Jil Sander house presented its new spring-summer 2021 collection.
STRAIGHT AND COMPACT
Lucy & Luke Mayer's creations are thoroughly "beautiful" this season as well. A beautiful piece with a sharp and compact impression due to the straight lines and a harmonious pattern with a strong presence is developed.
Half-sleeve shirts and T-shirts constructed with inorganic textiles, which seem to embody the image of minimalism as they are, have loose sleeves to add an accent to the overall silhouette. The bar motif on the chest is the only decoration for the shirt, which has been made into a fly to eliminate even the buttons from the outside.
There are some pieces that do not have buttons attached to the outerwear and jackets. Pointed lapel, pocket flaps, stitching at the seams between the body and sleeves ... parts of the clothes that are commonplace appear to stand out more clearly on the surface.
ADD REMOVABLE ELEMENTS TO THE TAILORING
The items with a quiet look and little undulations are equipped with unique gimmicks to add functionality. For example, the coat can be transformed from long sleeves to short sleeves by removing the small metal loop ring on the sleeves. The coat of another model has removable parts on the collar and is designed so that the look and atmosphere of the item itself can be easily changed.
Also, what is eye-catching in the look styling is the accent around the waist with various items. A flat waist bag with solid functionality and waist accessories such as Foolad and leather belts complete a simple yet edgy styling.
"RED", "GREEN", "LETTER"
In addition, the spices of this collection are the "red" and "green" colors. "Red" and "green" appears in the color palette based on pure white, off-white like genre, dark and deep navy and black, etc., bring a fresh feeling to Jil Sander.
And it is lettering that colors the clothes together with "red" and "green". Words inspired by nature and its circulation, such as "YELLOW MOON" and "HOMEGROWN", are placed on the textile.
