Fanny Nushka Moreaux: The Narrative Is Not Essential for Me

After New York, Sydney, and Paris, Nushka set up her studio in Marseille in 2015 where she lives with her husband and daughter. Nushka considers that creation is a whole, the result of multi-faceted knowledge. Hence her thirst to always develop. She has been learning painting and drawing from three masters: the American painter Zawacky first taught her the art of the line in Detroit. Maggie Siner then took her in to teach her the mechanics of color. Nushka still considers her a mentor and has a strong student-teacher relationship with Siner.

Back in Paris, Nushka met the painter Hashpa who taught her the sensuality of the model and the delicate art of composition. This is why Nushka's painting combines technical mastery and style with the most modern subjects. Her brushwork harmoniously blends American and European inspirations, a duality that underlies the originality of her work.
