Born in Sweden, Fannie Åkerblom moved to London at the age of 18 to study tailoring at London College of Fashion, where she later progressed to the BA (Hons) Fashion Design Womenswear course. Having completed a number of internships alongside her studies for designers including Hussein Chalayan and Giles Deacon, she launched her first collection before graduating in Spring 2009. Browns Focus bought the eponymous collection and in the same year, she received the prestigious NEWGEN Award from the British Fashion Council. She continued to receive the award for three consecutive seasons.

Before starting working on her own brand, Fannie Åkerblom managed to work with famous designers Hussein Chalayan and Giles Deacon.

The Swedish designer received the prestigious British Fashion Council award for her debut collection of metal accessories.

No wonder people say that power is in simplicity. Fannie Schiavoni’s metal jewellery is very simple, but it’s worth adding this seemingly simple accessory to an equally simple top or dress, as your whole look will sparkle with new colors.

Today, Fannie Schiavoni carried at Cruvoir in luxury retailers around the world accessories and clothing are sold in stores all over the world, including Cruvoir. Originally launched as an accessory line, belts massive necklaces, bracelets and bandages, the collection has developed into a ready to wear with unique chainmail dresses and separates features steel tops and dresses that can be worn also over t-shirts, sweaters and skirts. We hope you enjoy our small selection of the latest collection.

Instead of sketching, Fanny Schiavoni takes more practical approach to design – she personally selects each line of the pattern, so the garment falls down the body curves perfectly.
