During fashion week in Paris, Y. Project held a private and personal gathering serving as a memorial to Yohan Serfaty -the late designer of the label which carries on. Held at the historical site of the Museum of Art and History of Judaism, the occasion was centered around an installation for their Spring/Summer 2014 collection titled ‘Release’. Four garments were placed atop of high ladders in a darkened room. There was a dramatic and beautiful presence in the room, intensified by a video directed by Alessandro Tinelli, exhibiting industrial machines working in an almost ghost-like manner.
